Job description

Role Purpose

To provide effective HR business partnering support for Ho Chi Minh site in implementing of people strategies to support the delivery of business goals. In addition, this roles is responsible for delivery of effective and productive employee industrial relations initiatives and program to drive for the overall employee engagement with zero disturbances.

Principal Accountabilities & Key Activities

Accountable for delivery of People Strategies as HR business partner to business function.

  • Ensure effective implementation of People Strategy at the business unit in alignment with Global People Strategies.
  • Deliver the right learning and development program and initiatives for operators.

People Acquisition

  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition in hiring process to bring talents to the organization at responsible sites and levels.
  • Coordinate with Other HR Expert and Transactional function to ensure effective and great experience on-boarding program for new joiners.
  • Employee Engagement :

  • Ensure effective delivery and implementation of Global Employee Engagement programs to make sure it’s alignment with global employee engagement strategy.
  • Support employee engagement programs, track workplace culture and satisfaction, and collect feedback to inform HR strategies.
  • Support CSR events in coordination with ECCR and other functions.
  • Employee Relation Management

  • Implement industrial relations policies and frame work for the sites. Execute ER strategies for sites aligned with overall ER strategies.
  • Ensure the optimization of HR workflow, process to reduce legal issue, in compliance with Coats policies, guideline, regulations to prevent risk
  • Support to prepare necessary documents / logistics for meetings with Trade Union and other employee representative groups including but not limited to negotiations on Collective Agreement, annual congress.
  • Arrange counseling sessions for employees where relevant, facilitate workplace wellness initiatives, and help manage staff transitions during organizational changes.

  • Bachelor's degree as minimum.
  • At least years working experience in HR field, minimum years practices either in the area of recruitment or / and industrial employee relation and / or as HR business partner role at management level.
  • Solid and comprehensive knowledge in local labour law, regulations and rules and in depth experience in applying labor laws in day-to-day HR activities and plan
  • Basic knowledge and experience in talent management and succession plan and career path advisory, Sound knowledge in generic interview skill and assessment tools
