Achieving quality quickly improves delivery testing and reduces resource costs, facilitating easier scaling.
Ensure that all team members comply with established quality standards.
Oversee test plans, cases, and scripts to confirm they meet business requirements, including aspects of test management, analytics, and governance.
Foster an environment of open feedback and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Lead the charge in adopting advanced test automation tools.
Integrate automation into the CI / CD pipeline to enable quicker and more dependable releases.
Stay informed about industry trends to implement innovative solutions that boost efficiency.
Monitor quality metrics such as defect rates and test coverage to evaluate team performance.
Leverage data to pinpoint areas for enhancement and proactively manage potential risks.
Communicate progress, insights, and updates to the Department of Engineering (DoE), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and banks to maintain their confidence and awareness.
Motivate and assist the QA team; create a supportive team atmosphere.
Offer constructive feedback through regular performance evaluations to help the team excel.
Work collaboratively with engineering, product owners, and other QA teams to align on quality objectives.
Guide and empower the engineering team to enhance overall product quality.
Requirements
Experience as a QA Lead in a dynamic digital bank or fintech companies.
Proficient in both manual and automated testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
In-depth knowledge of shift-left testing and Agile testing practices.
Familiar with Agile and DevOps principles.
Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and the integration of automated testing.
Skilled in testing APIs, web services, and mobile applications.
Expertise in test design and test management.
Experience with testing microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless environments.
Strong grasp of best practices in security testing and performance testing.
Practical experience with tools such as JIRA, XRAY, Postman, or similar.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
