Position : Finishing Manager
Salary Range : VND 45-50 million

Report to : Production Manager (Vietnamese)

RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Planning 50%
- Collaborate closely with internal planning teams to ensure automated lines are fully loaded and operating at maximum efficiency. Coordinate with supporting sections to set and achieve production targets several days in advance.
- Review and approve internal production schedules to ensure alignment with the Master Planning schedule provided by the CP team, and confirm that all Line Supervisors are properly set up to meet the assigned targets.
- Periodically review white wood stock levels with the Planning team to ensure sufficient materials are available to meet daily throughput requirements.
- Conduct regular production meetings with Line Supervisors to provide guidance, share updates, and address any operational issues requiring support.
- Evaluate teams that fail to meet performance targets, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures or provide coaching as needed.
- Support goal achievement by removing obstacles and encouraging a results-driven mindset across teams.
- Manage both direct and indirect materials through close collaboration with the Materials Planner including continuous forecast updates and investigation of material shortages within sections or departments.
- Establish and maintain visual management systems so that all workers, Team Leaders, and Line Supervisors clearly understand and stay engaged with production goals and plans.

Maintaining an up-to-date Target Monitoring Board with hourly output updates.Ensuring all system sheets are accessible to workers at all times.Posting important memos and announcements on the notice board.Keeping FOP / MCP visual references in working areas regularly audited and updated.2. Enforce and sustain 5S principles on the shop floor to maintain a clean, organized, and visitor-ready work environment.Ensure that all key production personnel have clearly defined responsibilities and fully understand their assigned tasks.Create proper labeling and visual systems for held-up items, stock levels, non-moving materials, urgent items, and special work orders.Continuously guide Supervisors and Team Leaders on organizing products by production line to optimize floor space and improve efficiency.Encourage Team Leaders and Supervisors to conduct line-up sessions before or after shifts (e.g., before lunch or end of day) to reinforce safety practices and work discipline among employees.Regularly review employees skills and implement cross-training programs to help workers enhance their skills, improve job satisfaction, and build a multi-skilled and flexible workforce.Align all production activities with budget constraints including overtime control (e.g., maintaining within 15%) and headcount management.3. Quality- 20%
Conduct brief quality resolution meetings (around 5 minutes) on the shop floor to address recurring quality issues or NCRs (Non-Compliance Reports) and implement permanent corrective actions.Recommend process improvements to the Technical Department concerning machine operations to eliminate rework, reduce processing time, and enhance safety, efficiency, and overall product quality.Participate in Quality Meetings with QC / QA Managers to review team performance and establish corrective action plans where necessary.Conduct regular audits of PSP (Production Sample Panels) and MCP (Master Color Panels) in coordination with the Technical Team.Ensure all production groups strictly comply with FOP (Factory Operating Procedures).Attend Finished Goods Open Carton Audits to verify final product compliance.Emphasize that quality ownership belongs to every employee not only the QC team. Education & Major : University graduatedEnglish Level : Able to communicate in English.Around 3-5 years of experience at the same position in managing finishing departments in furniture manufacturing companies.Quality-focused professional with the ability to instill Built-In Quality Control (BIQC) practices within the finishing department.Working Conditions :
Working hours : Monday to Friday (8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM) + 2 Saturday per month (8 : 00 AM- 4 : 00 PM)Shuttle bus from Hang Xanh, 12 Dis., Thu Duc, Bien Hoa, Binh Duong to factorySocial Insurance on full salary, Health Insurance for Manager level14 days of per year
