Our client is a leading technology company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

Manage the complete physical design workflow from synthesis through to GDSII generation.

Execute key tasks including synthesis, floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis (CTS), routing, and timing analysis.

Conduct signoff checks such as static timing analysis (STA), electromigration (IR, DVd, P-EM, S-EM), physical verification (LVS, ANT, DRC, DFM), low power validation, and final tape-out processes.

Ensure the design adheres to performance, power, and area targets.

Utilize Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools for design implementation, simulation, and verification activities.

Collaborate closely with design teams, constraint teams, DFT, DV, and IP teams to guarantee the physical layout complies with design specifications.

Perform physical verification processes including layout versus schematic (LVS) and design rule checking (DRC).

Carry out parasitic extraction and analysis to enhance integrated circuit performance.

Identify and resolve design and process flow challenges related to physical design, proposing and executing effective solutions.

Optimize designs to balance power consumption, area efficiency, and performance goals.

Stay informed on emerging technology nodes (7nm, 5nm, 3nm, and beyond), industry standards, and advances in EDA toolsets.

Handle logic synthesis, floorplanning, power / clock distribution, timing optimization, signal integrity, and physical placement and routing.

Work in coordination with team members to identify and solve design and flow issues.

Requirements

Experience leading a team of fewer than 10 members.

Communicate effectively with clients to clarify requirements and ensure the team delivers expected results.

Actively share knowledge and collaborate to improve team expertise.

Over 6 years of professional experience in physical design.

Advanced skills in analysis and fixing issues related to timing, congestion, and signoff criteria, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Comfortable reporting directly to clients.

Proven experience in team leadership and mentoring new members.

Proactive in clarifying doubts and verifying information rather than making assumptions.
