Our client is a leading organization in the financial services sector , currently seeking a qualified and experienced Legal & Compliance professional to join their team in Hanoi.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Compliance department , ensuring all functions and duties are effectively executed.

Consult, provide guidance, and evaluate legal issues across various business operations.

Develop and implement compliance action plans , ensuring alignment with local laws, regulations, and shareholders’ requirements.

Establish, review, and consult on internal regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure full legal compliance.

Identify and manage compliance violations , coordinate investigations, and propose appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborate with relevant departments to respond to inquiries or requests from competent authorities.

Monitor and assess changes in local laws and regulations , evaluate their impact on company operations, and provide strategic legal guidance.

Oversee the company’s litigation, dispute resolution, and intellectual property protection matters.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents with internal and external stakeholders.

Manage relationships with external law firms and shareholders’ legal teams to resolve legal and compliance issues.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff awareness and understanding of compliance and legal requirements.

Provide regular reports and updates to the Board of Directors and shareholders on legal and compliance matters.

Supervise and develop the Legal & Compliance team members.

Qualifications

Excellent understanding of legal and compliance regulations , preferably in banking, financial services, or related sectors .

Minimum 3 years of experience as an in-house lawyer in a financial institution or corporate environment.

Strong strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills .

Proven ability to manage complex legal issues with a business-oriented and results-driven mindset .

Fluent in English , both written and spoken.
