Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer to join our dynamic team at EPAM Vietnam.

In this role, you will lead and coordinate a rapidly growing engineering team to design and build complex systems from the ground up.

If you possess deep Python knowledge, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a robust engineering mindset, you are the ideal candidate for this position.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend solutions ensuring high performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, architecture, and implementation strategies
Implement and maintain APIs, databases, and other backend services, adhering to best practices and industry standards
Lead end-to-end application deployment processes, including configuration, optimization, and monitoring of infrastructure resources
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend components, identifying and resolving issues on time
Implement (CI / CD) pipelines to streamline the software delivery lifecycle
Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and trends in backend development, AI, and testing methodologies

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience developing and designing modern applications in Python

Familiarity with one of the Cloud data services : AWS, Azure, GCP, etc

Strong understanding of end-to-end app deployment processes, including deployment pipelines, containerization, and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with generative AI technologies and frameworks is highly desirable

Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing

Fluency in both written and spoken English (B2)
