Data Analyst - 40K / Year | UAE Relocation

Our client is a fast-growing and innovative startup operating at the intersection of gaming and blockchain technologies , headquartered in Dubai .

What You'll Do :

• Collect, clean, transform, and validate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, marketing platforms, analytics tools) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Ops, and other stakeholders to understand key questions and design metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automated reports and interactive dashboards using BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Metabase, etc.).
• Build and enhance ETL pipelines (Extract Transform Load) to support scalable data flows and analytics.
• Conduct advanced analytics : cohort analysis, funnel metrics, retention modeling, segmentation, A / B testing analysis, etc.
• Develop predictive models using statistical or machine-learning techniques to forecast user behavior, churn, revenue, or feature adoption.
• Monitor data quality, detect data issues, and proactively suggest data governance procedures.
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams in clear, persuasive ways.
• Drive continuous improvement : propose new metrics, refine existing KPIs, optimize reports and dashboards, and streamline analytics workflows.

What We're Looking For :

Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, etc.).

At least 3 years of experience in a Data Analyst or related position.

Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and advanced SQL.

Experience working with large datasets and building ETL pipelines (Extract Transform Load).

Strong command of BI and data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Metabase.

Solid understanding of statistical methods and analytical techniques such as cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and retention analysis.

Experience in marketing data analysis is a plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.

Certifications (Preferred) : Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate or IBM Data Analyst Professional Certificate or Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate
