The Role

We are looking for specialized candidates with good interpersonal skills and ENGLISH for the position of Gastroenterologist. The Gastroenterologist duties will include consulting and diagnosing patients, inspecting the G.I tract through endoscopic procedures then, suggest in effective treatment base on diagnosis, and consulting with patients' primary physicians, amongst other duties. Highly skilled specialists with a comprehensive understanding of all gastroenterological conditions and treatment options.

Gastroenterologists should demonstrate good interpersonal skills as they will be required to attend to patient needs and consult with other specialists.

Job location: Center of Hanoi capital, Vietnam

Employment contract: at least 2 years, renew annually upon agreement

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Examining patients, collecting medical histories, reviewing and interviewing imaging and laboratory reports.
• Performing specialized tests to diagnose patients and come up with accurate diagnosis and treating GI disorders including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, and other digestive diseases
• Perform investigative endoscopic procedures such as Gastroscopies and Colonoscopies;
• Performing minor procedures in the digestive tract (polyp remove, biopsy when indicated)
• Coordinate with different medical health divisions that are involve in patient’s care
• Determining proper CME training for keeping up to date with the latest research and treatment in the field.

Ideal Profile

• You have a Medical university degree.
• You have Certificate of professional training orientation in gastroenterology specialist (*); or Certificate of completion of resident doctor program for Gastroenterologist; or Certificate of completion of fellowship for Gastroenterologist.
• You have Certificate of completion training to perform gastroscopies/colonoscopies procedures.
• You must have valid register medical license in the country of practice.
• You are practicing as Gastroenterologist and perform gastroscopy/colonoscopy procedures at the medical facilities at least 54 months which includes at least 18 months working in a hospital and 36 months possibly working in gastroenterology clinics.
• You have excellent communication in English skills, both written and verbal.
• You are Empathetic and caring in nature
• You must have a thorough knowledge of the pharmacology of substances used for sedation and experience in performing painless endoscopy in the pre-anesthetic state.

Other information

• We will sign employment contract with at least 02 years and can be renewed upon agreement.
• We support visa, work permit, temporary residence card to work legally and settle down in Hanoi, Vietnam.
