About the Role :
Sunbytes is actively seeking a highly skilled [Remote] Manual & Automation QA Engineer to work remotely for our Australian client in a distributed engineering team across Southeast Asia. You will have a chance to join an Australian SaaS company that specializes in sales funnel plug-in and optimization platform .
As a QA Engineer , you will join their team of multinational engineers and collaborate directly with Australian tech leads. Responsibilities
Test new features and improvements across devices and browsers, ensuring high quality before release
Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to understand acceptance criteria and edge cases
Validate analytics implementation against defined tracking specifications
Create and maintain test plans and test cases for ongoing development
Report, document, and verify defects in clear and reproducible detail
Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release reviews
Contribute to Playwright or Vitest scripts for repetitive test cases (optional, but appreciated)
Advocate for quality throughout the product lifecycle tools like Jira or Asana
Act as the bridge between international teams, set up the QA process and delegate tasks
Scope of work : Manual (70%); Automation (30%)
Requirements
Technical skills
3-5 years of experience in manual web testing across modern browser / device combinations
From 2 years of experience in Javascript test automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, or Vitest)
Solid understanding of QA processes and test case design
Familiarity with analytics platforms ( e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics)
Ability to read and validate event schemas, naming conventions, and property structures
Soft skills
High proficiency in English
Leading team, reviewing & setting up QA Process is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to think like a user
Clear communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Comfortable working in Agile teams and tools like Jira or Asana
