VP Supply Chain, Vietnam

The Vice President, Supply Chain – Vietnam is a critical leadership role responsible for driving supply chain performance and transformation across key operational areas including production planning, logistics, warehousing, and customer service.

Reporting to the Country President (Vietnam), this role will focus on optimising cost, improving service levels, and strengthening execution discipline, while enabling a more efficient and integrated supply chain to support business growth.

What you will do:

Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership

• Lead the transformation of the Vietnam supply chain, shifting from conventional practices to a more efficient, performance-driven model

• Challenge existing ways of working and drive continuous improvement across core supply chain functions

• Build strong alignment across manufacturing, commercial, and regional teams
  

Operational Excellence

• Oversee core supply chain operations:

• Production planning

• Inventory management

• Logistics, transportation, and warehousing

• Customer service and order fulfilment

• Improve execution discipline, process consistency, and operational visibility

• Establish clear governance and performance tracking across the function
  

Optimization & Performance Management

• Cost optimisation across key areas:

• Transportation (primary cost driver)

• Inventory (raw materials and finished goods)

• Planning efficiency

• Balance cost, service, and inventory to improve overall supply chain performance

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  

Manufacturing & Planning Integration

• Strengthen integration between supply chain and manufacturing operations

• Improve production planning accuracy and execution

• Support better decision-making across demand, supply, and inventory trade-offs
  

Logistics & Distribution

• Lead logistics and distribution strategy across Vietnam

• Improve delivery reliability, network efficiency, and service levels

• Drive better coordination across transport, warehousing, and site operations
  

Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with:

• Country Leadership Team

• Manufacturing and Commercial teams

• Regional Supply Chain stakeholders

• Enable cross-functional collaboration to improve end-to-end execution

• Act as a key interface between plant operations and business priorities

Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and develop a team across planning, logistics, and customer service

• Build capability in operational discipline, problem-solving, and continuous improvement

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance focus

What you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• Strong experience in manufacturing-linked supply chain roles (planning, logistics, inventory)

• Proven track record in driving operational improvement and transformation

• Strong understanding of production planning, logistics, and inventory optimisation

• Hands-on familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems

• Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments
