Design, develop, and maintain COBOL/COBOLII/eCOBOL applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Work with Smart 400 and Business Object (BO of CSC) tools to deliver business solutions.
Develop and manage DB2 databases, ensuring data integrity and high availability.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and gather system requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for life insurance-related applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing COBOL applications in a timely manner.
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Ensure that developed applications are in line with the company’s best practices and security standards.
Collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Support and contribute to the Life Asia system, ensuring alignment with business objectives and system requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
From 3- 5 years hand-on experience working with Cobol Developement, especially with Smart 400 and Business Object (BO of CSC).
Strong expertise in COBOL programming language, with experience in COBOLII/eCOBOL.
Hand-on experience working with DB2 databases.
Experience in the life insurance industry is highly preferred, with familiarity in Life Asia systems.
Experience with mainframe programming and working on legacy systems.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and project timelines.
Knowledge of industry best practices in coding, testing, and debugging.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under high-pressure environments.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively within a team
