Position Summary :

The Project Manager will work in partnership with HQ, the local Marketing Team, and the Marketing Manager to plan, implement, and execute the strategic direction of the brand across the dedicated region / remit.

They’ll ensure structured alignment to the brand’s marketing standards, objectives, strategies, and philosophies. The Project Manager, as part of a wider marketing team Trade Marketing and Digital , will be responsible for creating, planning, managing, and executing specific marketing events and programs that are articulated in the annual Marketing plan, based on ownership of specific channels i.

e. Grocery, C&P, National Independents, etc .

The Project Manager will integrate key brand platforms into key sales initiatives to leverage and build brand awareness through diligent trade marketing and integrated digital leverage platforms.

This role will require close collaboration with HQ Departments, specifically design / creative and digital as well as local MEC’s marketing team so as to align local brand-building initiatives with global best practices and also to leverage larger scale marketing investments.

Essential Job Functions :

Plan, Implement and leverage the brand by implementing image-building strategies through (1) Consumer and Trade Promotions (2) Event / Sponsorship Execution (3) Marketing Team collaboration (4) Branding (5) Budget Control, (6) Relationship development Internal and External .

All elements should be defined via clear planning and implementation considerations, along with defined budgets and processes.

Media & Digital - Develop effective digital media proposals and plans in line with brand plans and business priorities.

Campaign management includes planning, optimizing, and tracking. Initiate ideas, develop concept, layout, define a content plan, and integrate it into the campaign.

  • Consumer and Trade Promotions - Work with bottler channel teams, local / international marketing teams,s and MEC agencies to implement cost-effective promotional platforms that drive trade-wide executional scale, product trial, brand awareness, and sales volumes.
  • Event / Sponsorship execution - Activate & leverage global, national & regional events & properties that fit within the established local market business plan, including leveraging local merchandising opportunities, while maintaining / delivering clear ROI analysis.
  • Marketing Team Collaboration Work with a wider marketing team to ensure connectivity and consistency across the programming.
  • Ability to highlight key pivot points in planning and development so as to help optimize overall marketing output and delivery;
  • Branding - Ensure all branding / logo use is in line with brand standards at all events and activations and is approved and under the direction of the Marketing Manager and Snr.
  • Director Marketing according to MEC Branding Guidelines;
  • Budget Control - Accountability of approved Marketing budget, aligned to a specific program, as set in conjunction with Marketing Manager and HQ Marketing;
  • Relationship development - Entrench yourself & MEC Brands in the local sport & culture scenes relevant to key targeted consumers & brands / SKUs.

Develop & maintain relationships with opinion leaders in your market for the key image-building scenes in sport & culture.

With a local network of opinion leaders, develop new ideas that bring the brand to life through local image-building scenes.

Develop close and collaborative internal relationships with key Stakeholders locally and at HQ. Ensure relationships remain professional to ensure rational decision-making based on clear ROI.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and will have some marketing experience.

This role will provide dedicated support to ensure specific marketing programs are implemented, on time and within budget, which will further grow the brand.

Position Requirements :

  • 3 Years in Media & Digital, Brand Management, Trade Marketing with experience in FMCG brands Agency or Brand .
  • General knowledge of marketing desired and or education in a related field.
  • Education Level : Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Presentation / Writing Skills competency.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel competency.
  • The position requires independent judgment and initiative, strong attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs and can accomplish tasks without direction.
  • Strong knowledge of Local Consumer Insight and Social Media Behavior.
  • Will take direction without question and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work long hours and consecutive days.
  • Maintain a Monster brand-oriented image.
  • Multi-cultural, with an understanding of the Predator s positioning and lifestyle.
  • Regular weekend.
