Our client is a fast-growing biotechnology company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

Management of Accounting Department Operations

Oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department.

Review and approve accounting documents and vouchers on the ERP system according to assigned permissions.

Organize accounting entries using the ERP Bravo software, ensuring economic transactions are fully and timely recorded in compliance with accounting standards and procedures on the ERP system.

Verify accounting data prior to the closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Organize and maintain accounting records in accordance with the regulations of government agencies and company policies.

Management of Accounting and Tax Reporting Systems

Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with company regulations.

Monitor data accuracy and deadlines for submission of tax, financial, and statistical reports according to government requirements.

Control data and provide internal reports as required by company policies.

Liaison with Government Authorities and External Partners

Directly liaise with tax authorities and government inspection agencies regarding tax and accounting matters.

Communicate directly with banks on payment issues, account openings, loan documentation, transaction fees, deposits, and foreign exchange trading.

Provide guidance or work directly with customers and suppliers on matters related to receivables and payments when necessary.

Requirements

Capacity Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, finance, financial reporting, and a solid grasp of VAS (Vietnamese Accounting Standards).

Thorough understanding of the organization, accounting procedures, and the company’s business areas, as well as the products and services provided by the company.

Knowledge of the financial market.

Advanced skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management.

Familiarity with laws related to enterprise operations, including Accounting Law, Tax Law, Enterprise Law, Commercial Law, Securities Law, and Investment Law.

Experience and deep expertise in the professional application of ERP systems for managing finance, accounting, and tax operations.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the accounting field, with at least 3 years in a chief accountant role within companies engaged in importing and distributing raw materials for pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic manufacturing, with a scale of annual revenue exceeding VND 750 billion.

Preference given to candidates with experience in commercial, import-export sectors, or group companies.

Possession of at least one professional certification such as ACCA, CMA, CFA Level 2, CPA Vietnam, or a Master’s degree in Finance.

Authorities

Authorized to approve documents / records within the scope of assigned duties and held accountable for approved documents / records.

Authorized to organize, assign, and directly manage accounting staff performing specialized accounting tasks and other activities according to company policies and under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer.

Authorized to propose recruitment, appointment, dismissal, transfer, and recognition of accounting personnel in accordance with company procedures.

Authorized to collect and is responsible for controlling all information (input / output) of the Accounting Department.
