The Role
Core Responsibilities :
- Provide financial and HR administrative support to ensure smooth operations of the Vietnam office.
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries.
- Ensure compliance with local taxation, labor, and financial regulations.
- Prepare, monitor, and update financial reports for management review.
- Coordinate with external vendors, auditors, and government authorities when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of employee data, contracts, insurance, and payroll documentation.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for Vietnam staff.
Daily Responsibilities
Record and file invoices and financial documents using the company’s internal system (e.g. Lark).Issue invoices to clients and ensure timely dispatch.Communicate with clients regarding payment statuses and resolve invoice discrepancies.Prepare payment drafts and process approved payments through the designated banking platform.Support the management team with requested financial or HR reports.Ensure all accounting records are accurately updated and filed daily.Maintain HR records such as attendance, leave tracking, and employee data.Monthly Responsibilities :
Follow up with clients on outstanding payments and provide an updated accounts receivable report.Prepare and verify the monthly payroll summary for Vietnam employees, including statutory deductions.Coordinate with payroll service providers or tax agents for monthly declarations (Social Insurance, PIT, etc.).Submit VAT and other tax filings in compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations.Assist in reviewing expense claims, vendor payments, and purchase transactions.Reconcile bank statements, sales reports, and supporting documents.Prepare monthly cash flow reports and forecasts.Ensure proper tracking and reconciliation of employee benefits and entitlements.Yearly Responsibilities
Coordinate with external accountants or tax agents for annual tax compliance and filings :Corporate Income Tax (CIT)Annual PIT Finalization for employeesAssist with year-end financial closing and audits.Prepare and submit the annual labor report to local authorities.Review and update internal HR policies in alignment with Vietnamese labor laws.Support employee performance reviews and contract renewals.Ideal Profile
Minimum Diploma Degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field1–2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting or TaxFluent in English, both written and spokenProficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial softwareGood understanding of basic financial principles and reportingStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently as well as in a teamGood communication and interpersonal skillsWilling to work from the office (WFO), based in Ho Chi MinhWhat's on Offer?
