Business Development Manager (Solar Rooftop Projects)

Our client is a leading solar rooftop technology company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in rooftop solar initiatives.

Develop projects with immediate or near-future potential for rooftop solar solutions, including power purchase agreements (PPA), RTS leasing contracts, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and other decarbonization solutions.

Actively establish and grow relationships with key decision-makers in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector.

Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with important stakeholders such as investors, EPC contractors, and government bodies.

Lead contract negotiations, including terms, agreements, and pricing, to secure new projects.

Perform market research and analyze competitors to inform and support business strategies.

Collaborate closely with technical and project teams to confirm project viability and ensure smooth project delivery.

Generate regular updates and reports on the project pipeline, sales status, and market trends.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.

At least 3 to 5 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the renewable energy or construction industries.

Well-established network within industrial / commercial clients and key decision-makers.

Demonstrated success in sourcing projects and closing deals.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Proficiency in English is a plus.
