Duties and expectations
Ensure that all textile design related aspects to Proweave and specific technical tasks flow efficiently from brand development to production departments in collaboration with the Global Account team members. The textile designer is responsible for crafting all textile CAD requirements throughout the creation process sampling to production of the textiles including keeping tasks and projects on deadline, handling the logistics and keeping all parties updated on the progress specific to role responsibilities. Duties include being an active partner in the ProWeave team and working within the innovation sampling process for ProWeave. The end goal is to ensure the project goes smoothly and both the client who requested the project and the cross functional members of the project team, who did the work, are satisfied with the result.

To succeed as the Textile Designer - Proweave, you need the ability to multitask, organize and collaborate. As a project team member, you juggle a wide variety of projects originated from external clients with competing deadlines with limited resources. Strong decision-making and prioritization are essential to make sure everything runs smoothly, with the ability to be as organized as possible to schedule and execute against deadlines as needed.
This position also requires significant collaboration bridging product creation, development and production.Excellent people management skills are a requirement. You need to know how to effectively translate requests and assignments from clients to deliverables, which includes meeting deadlines and following up when you don’t, pushing back when clients make unrealistic requests and making sure everyone is satisfied with outputs required from your design role.
