One of our portfolio companies, Witness Experts , is a leading international consultancy providing expert witnesses for legal, human rights, and asylum cases worldwide.

We are currently expanding our network and seeking a highly qualified, self-motivated, and accredited expert with specialized knowledge of Vietnam . The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise on topics such as state protection of loan shark networks, Vietnam's treatment of asylum seekers, and the trafficking of vulnerable populations.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact cases and support justice processes through well-researched, authoritative expert reports.

The Role

The Vietnam Country Expert will be responsible for providing in-depth research and expert analysis on political, social, and human rights developments in Vietnam . This role is ideal for individuals with a background in law, academia, journalism, political science, or NGO / human rights work, who possess deep knowledge of the region and are capable of producing accurate, well-researched, and articulate reports in English.

The role involves supporting legal professionals, NGOs, and academic institutions by delivering detailed, country-specific insights related to political developments, human rights, social structures, and legal frameworks in Vietnam

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct in-depth research and provide expert analysis on political, legal, social, and human rights conditions in Vietnam
• Deliver professional, well-documented reports to support legal cases (including asylum and immigration) and academic / public policy projects.
• Review and interpret case documents in conjunction with legal standards and country-specific context.
• Work collaboratively to meet agreed deadlines and deliverables.
