    Role + Responsibilities :

    • Travel to customer site, inside or outside the region / country to perform services, such as : start-up and commissioning; trouble shooting, maintenance contract work, diagnosis, and upgrade / update of instrumentation.
    • Determine possible system's faults prior to departing for on-site service calls, professional preparation for service visits (request type, tools, documentation, spare parts, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) / Work Instructions, etc.
    • Knowledge and use of support systems and processes to professionally manage track, document, and effectively close service calls.
    • Professional interaction with customer and its representatives; "ownership" of issues and escalation when appropriate, root cause problem analysis & resolution on site using personal as well as internal expertise.
    • Provide feedback to Sales and Marketing to report potential customer applications of THE COMPANY products.
    • Conduct training for customers staff on maintenance, repair, commissioning of The Company instrumentation.
    • Assist customers via telephone with product information and problem solving.
    • Develop and maintain a level of knowledge of all THE COMPANY products.
    • Site and / or factory acceptance test support. Arrange and follow-up Demo's & Trials at customer's site.
    • Handling of repairs / returns, Complaint management, Service database, Spare parts management / demo parts and instruments, Value added services.
    • Participate in international projects for starting-up and commissioning.
    • Adherence and respect of customer, local, THE COMPANY laws, regulations and procedures related to Health, Safety & Environment.
    • Qualification + Profile :

    • An engineering background to degree level (or industry-based equivalent) in electrical and electronics engineering, instrumentation, or mechanical engineering or related fields.
    • 1 – 4 work experience in the process industry or with instrumentation.
    • Didactical and educational skills.
    • Willingness to travel.
    • Good communication skills.
