Your Role
You are responsible for providing leadership + direction to the warehouse team by directing a diverse in-house + subcontracted workforce to manage the throughput of our customer’s products + creating a safe working environment
Your Responsibilities
You will achieve this by careful planning + coordination with internal a+ external stakeholders along with proactive inventory and resource management :
- To be responsible for the overall performance of the allocated Container Freight Station (CFS) site including warehouse operations, office operations + information systems.
- To oversee the selection, professional development, + motivation of all warehouse employees.
- To closely monitor the performance of any sub-contractors.
- To plan, direct + implement warehouse operations, administrative + customer service support to meet prescribed productivity + service goals.
- To ensure storage utilization within warehouses, especially during peak seasons, is correctly managed.
- To ensure that all internal + external health + safety requirements are understood + followed at all times.
- To manage continuous improvement projects for site
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor DegreeMore than 08 years in Logistics industry with having at least 03 years at similar roleSolid experiences of Warehousing, especially CFS operations management is a plusHaving growth mind-set, Process Improvement & LEAN managementAbility of influencing & motivating people and resource developmentHaving a strong leadership, high level of communication (included interpersonal skills), performance & process improvement driven, cost leadership and stakeholder managementGood command of English
